These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Staylo (“we”, “us”, “our”) by any client (“you”, “your”). By purchasing, accessing, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

3. Eligibility & Acceptance

You confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the authority to act on behalf of any company you represent
  • All information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at our discretion, particularly where required by law.

4. Description of Services

Our services may include:

  • Registered office address services
  • Director service address services
  • Mail receipt, handling, scanning, forwarding, storage, or disposal
  • Ancillary compliance or administrative services

Services are provided strictly as described at the time of purchase. We do not provide legal, accounting, or financial advice.

5. Legal & Compliance Obligations (AML / KYC)

5.1 Mandatory Identity Checks

All clients must complete Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks before services are activated.

You must provide:

  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Proof of residential address
  • Additional information if requested

This is a legal requirement under UK law.

5.2 Failure to Comply

If you:

  • Fail to provide documents
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Fail AML checks

We may:

  • Delay or refuse service
  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • Retain fees covering compliance and administrative costs
  • Report matters to relevant authorities where required

We are not obliged to provide reasons for refusal where restricted by law.

6. Use of Address Services

You agree that:

  • Our address is used only as permitted under the service purchased
  • The address must not be used for illegal, misleading, or deceptive purposes
  • The address must not be used for activities that breach UK law or third-party rights

We may immediately terminate service if misuse is identified.

7. Mail Handling Terms

7.1 Mail Receipt & Processing
  • Mail is handled according to the service level purchased
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or couriers
  • We do not open mail unless scanning has been requested
7.2 Prohibited Items

We do not accept:

  • Cash
  • Illegal items
  • Dangerous goods
  • Perishable items

Any such items may be refused, returned, or reported.

8. Fees & Payment

  • All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise
  • Payment is required in advance
  • Services renew automatically unless cancelled

We reserve the right to amend pricing with reasonable notice.

9. Refund & Cancellation Policy

9.1 General Rule

Due to the nature of regulated, address-based services:

All services are non-refundable once activated.

Activation includes (but is not limited to):

  • Address being made available for use
  • Mail being received
  • AML/KYC checks commencing
9.2 Cooling-Off Period (Consumers Only)

If you are a consumer (not a business) purchasing online:

  • You may cancel within 14 days only if the service has not started
  • Once service has begun, the right to cancel is waived

By purchasing, you expressly consent to immediate service commencement.

9.3 AML / Compliance Failure

If onboarding cannot be completed due to:

  • Failed AML checks
  • Missing documentation
  • Legal restrictions

We may cancel the service and:

  • Retain fees covering compliance and administrative work
  • Refund any unused balance at our discretion
9.4 Mail, Postage & Handling Fees
  • Postage, scanning, courier, and handling fees are non-refundable
  • Prepaid postage is charged in advance
  • Errors in delivery details supplied by you are your responsibility
9.5 Chargebacks

Unwarranted or abusive chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate service termination
  • Evidence submission to payment providers
  • Recovery of associated costs

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate services immediately if:

  • These Terms are breached
  • Legal or regulatory obligations require it
  • We reasonably believe misuse or fraud has occurred

Upon termination:

  • Address use must cease immediately
  • Mail may be returned or destroyed after a reasonable period
  • No refunds will be issued

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected service period

Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Changes to Services or Terms

We may update services or these Terms from time to time.

Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
